Symptoms may include fatigue, brain fog, forgetfulness, balance problems, nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, hearing disturbances, emotional instability or lability, anger, sadness, personality changes. Cognitive function may also be impaired such as have difficulty adding or subtracting, recalling words, difficulty concentrating, and focusing are prevalent symptoms.
Concussion in youth are often due to falls, until they reach driving age at which point motor vehicle collisions and sports such as football, hockey, soccer, field hockey, gymnastics, mountain biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, climbing,etc.
